Beauty and lifestyle expert Dawn McCarthy joined Arizona Midday to share five products designed to help students and families feel more prepared for the school year ahead. Among her selections was the Safely Sidekick, our award-winning, all-in-one personal safety device.
A Back-to-School Safety Standout
Heading back to school often means adjusting to new schedules, unfamiliar surroundings, and more independence. Whether students are walking across campus, commuting to class, heading home after an evening activity, or exploring a new city, having a personal safety tool they understand can help them feel more prepared.
During the segment, Dawn highlighted Safely as a female-founded personal safety company created by four University of Texas graduates with a mission to create a safer tomorrow.
She also introduced viewers to the Safely Sidekick, which combines multiple essential safety tools into one compact device. With pepper spray, a personal alarm, a flashlight, a safety spike, and an interchangeable grip, the Sidekick gives students more ways to respond depending on the situation.
