Safely in Utah: Visit to Scheels, Outdoor Retailer, and More

This week, our team traveled to Utah to continue our mission of making safety more accessible. From connecting with fellow brands at Outdoor Retailer to teaching pepper spray safety in Scheels, our time in Salt Lake City was packed with purpose.

Exhibiting at Outdoor Retailer

We kicked off the week at Outdoor Retailer, a gathering of outdoor brands, retailers, and innovators. It was a great opportunity to connect with others who care about empowering people through gear, education, and community. Events like these are a powerful reminder that safety belongs in every space, including the outdoors.

Meeting Robyn in Person

One of the most memorable highlights was finally meeting Robyn, also known as @aflyonmywall. Robyn is a survivor of assault and a powerful self-defense educator who shares tips and real-life advice with her online community. Her work has helped thousands of women feel more confident and aware in their daily lives.

We are so grateful to know Robyn and proud to call her a Safely partner. If you are not already following her, she is a must-add to your feed.

Teaching Pepper Spray Safety at Scheels

On our final day in Utah, we visited the Sandy Scheels store where Safely products are sold in person. We met with customers and hosted a hands-on training using our practice sprays and signature pink skeleton, Pinky.

We walked people through how to properly use pepper spray, including how to unlock it, how to aim, and what to do if they ever find themselves in an emergency situation. It's beyond important to take charge of your safety and practicing enables just that.

Real Safety for Real Life

At Safely, we believe preparation builds confidence. That is why we offer hands-on trainings, educational events, and free resources to support women in every stage of their safety journey.

Whether you are new to self-defense or looking to feel more secure on your next walk, run, or solo trip, we are here to help.

Final Thoughts

Utah reminded us that no matter where we go, the need for real, practical safety tools is everywhere.

We are so thankful to the incredible women and partners we met this week who are building safer communities alongside us.

If you want to learn more about how to stay safe and feel confident, here are a few places to start:

Together, we are building a safer tomorrow. One conversation, one training, and one spray at a time.
