At Safely, we're all about being the modern self-defense company for the girl on the go. We were honored to join forces with Everyday Armor, an organization that shares our passion for empowering women, as they graciously invited us to participate in an incredible event at Texas Christian University (TCU) for Panhellenic members.
Meet Everyday Armor
Founded by Kailee Billerbeck, Everyday Armor officially started its journey in 2021, but the seeds of their mission were planted back in 2019. They're all about helping young women feel empowered, confident, independent, and safe in a way that's both unique and relatable.
A Memorable Evening at TCU
It was a night to remember at TCU, thanks to the gracious invitation from Everyday Armor. Over 200 enthusiastic young women from the Panhellenic community joined us for an event that promised to empower them with knowledge and practical skills, all designed to boost their confidence and security.
Here's a glimpse of what went down:
1. Situational Awareness In today's fast-paced world, being aware of your surroundings is key. Everyday Armor led an informative session on situational awareness, giving attendees the tools they need to stay alert and make informed choices no matter where they are. It's all about feeling in control and secure.
2. Self-Defense Tips Self-defense isn't just a skill; it's a superpower. Everyday Armor's expert instructors shared practical self-defense tips and techniques that were easy to understand and implement. Confidence soared as participants learned how to protect themselves effectively.
3. Safely Pepper Spray Training Our Safely Pepper Spray is a sleek, modern, and non-lethal self-defense tool designed for the girl on the go. At the event, participants got hands-on training on how to use it effectively, ensuring they can stay safe whenever they step out.
